System Status

Just a reminder that currently with the exception of Grizzly Mountain and Mt Hood the N7PIR Repeaters are not operating in linked mode. In addition, the Goat Mountain repeater is out of service.  IRLP is available on Skyline (3420) and Seaside (3430).  System improvements are coming and more information and updates will be announced in the future, so please check back.

Goat Mountain 10-30-2013

Yesterday was a sad day in N7PIR history. Due many reasons, one being lack of funding, the Goat Mountain repeater was removed from service. This repeater impacts the N7PIR System deeply, since this is know as the "hub-repeater". So at this point in time each repeater (besides Mount Hood & Grizzly) are in stand-alone mode. We are currently working on resolving this issue to get all the repeater linked back together, but this will take a few weeks.

Salem Update - 10/20/2013

The Salem repeater has been improved thanks to a friend of N7PIR for the hard work. While not quite at it its full potential, transmit power is substantially increased resulting in better coverage. Further work is planned for the near future in an effort to bring it to 100%

The Grizzly Mountain Repeater is experiencing some technical issues and is operating at reduced power. The technical team will be working on it as soon as schedules permit.

N7PIR System Information

Due to inclement weather and associated power problems, the Goat Mountain site has been experiencing some intermittent outages.  This will also potentially interrupt link audio so other sites might be indirectly affected as well.  N7PIR staff is aware of the issue and we are working with site management to correct it.
