August Breakfast Meeting

The N7PIR Monthly User Group Breakfast is coming up Saturday, August 29th from 8:30am - 10:00 am. This month it will take place at Elmers Restaurant in Tigard.  Elmers is located at 14055 SW Pacific Hwy. Join us for some socializing and to find out the latest plans and happenings.  Please let Brien (K7KSN) or one of us know if you are planning to join us. Letting one of us know is very important because we need to tell Elmers how many people we are expecting so that everyone is accomodated.

As the breakfast meeting would fall during Field Day weekend we will not be holding one in June.  We will plan on seeing eveyone in July on the east side for breakfast.  Enjoy a safe and fun field day.  Happy contesting!

SEA-PAC 2015

CQ...CQ...CQ...If you are going to Sea-Pac, June 5th, 6th and 7th, remember the N7PIR Repeater Group has a 440MHz a full time repeater located in Seaside for your general use. The repeater gives great portable coverage of Seaside and even inside the convention center. The repeater also is equipped with IRLP at Node 3430 and Echolink.

 

Speaking of IRLP, Clay - N7QNM will be giving a IRLP presentation at Sea-Pac on Saturday, June 6th and will be connecting to our Node sometime between 11am and 1pm.

June is coming up!

I'm sure that most of you are well aware that June is a big month for amateur radio activities, particularly here in the northwest.  Both Sea-Pac and Field Day are almost upon us (see the N7PIR Events Calendar). If you plan to participate in either or both events, hopefully you have remembered to make lodging reservations for Sea-Pac and have started to get your Field Day equipment and supplies prepared.  If you have, congratulations!
